Lesson 2.5 Sink & Doors
Sink and Countertop: (if exists – use video. Footage from kitchen)
- Countertop:
- Using warm soapy water and fresh cleaning towel, wipe from one end of the counter, until all the counters are cleaned.
- If any countertop baseboards exist, clean them as well.
- Backsplash (if exists):
- Spray backsplash with warm soapy water and wipe it clean thoroughly.
- Sink:
- Release the sink water.
- Using a non-scratch pad, scrub the sink and drain area.
- If any hard water on the sink and or fixtures, use a hard water remover and a scratch pad to remove the hard water. Rinse the areas with cold water then damp dry the sink area and fixtures.
- If tough stains still exist in the sink, apply powdered cleaner on a scrub pad then scrub the area in need of cleaning then rinse thoroughly.

Door(s): (if exists)
- With the door open, clean the inside of the door, the frame, hinges (all sides), and doorknobs/handles.
- Close the door, then clean the outside of the closed door, the frame, and doorknobs/handles.
- Repeat steps if multiple doors exist.
