Refrigerator
Reminder(s):
- Refrigerator has been turned off.
Cleaning around and behind the refrigerator:
- To access the sides and behind the refrigeration, carefully pull the refrigerator away from the wall.
- Using a degreaser, clean the top of the refrigerator first, clean both sides of the refrigerator including the back of the refrigerator.
- Clean the cabinets around the refrigerator, top area and sides (top and bottom) and the baseboards.
- Using the broom and dustpan, sweep the floor, pick-up and discard the trash then mop the floor behind the refrigerator, use the appropriate floor cleaner.
- Push refrigerator back into its original position.
- Once again refresh your warm soapy water and get a fresh towel.
Cleaning inside the freezer:
- Remove all the removable parts such as drawers, shelves, and bins, and set them by the cleaning
- Carefully, remove any tempered glass.
- Using a warm soapy towel, clean the very top of the freezer then sides, back, bottom and around the edge of the freezer.
- Rinse out the towel and repeat the prior step.
- Focusing on the door of the freezer, clean the rubber seal around the edge of the door.
- Clean the shelves on the freezer door.
- Rinse the towel and repeat the door process once more.
- Return to the cleaning station, wash and dry all shelves, drawers, and bins, then place them back into their proper locations.
- Close the freezer’s door.
Cleaning inside the Refrigerator:
- Open the door to the refrigerator.
- Remove all the removable parts such as drawers, shelves, and bins, and set them aside by the cleaning station. Carefully, remove any tempered glass.
- Using a warm soapy towel, clean the very top of the refrigerator then sides, back, bottom and edge of the refrigerator.
- Focusing on the door of the refrigerator, clean the rubber seal around the edge of the door.
- Clean all shelves on the refrigerator door.
- Rinse the towel and repeat the door process once more.
- Return to the cleaning station, wash and dry all parts removed such drawers, shelves, and bins, then place them back into the refrigerator starting from bottom to top.
- Turn the refrigerator on.
- Close the refrigerator’s door.
- If there’s a vent at the bottom of the refrigerator, remove the vent cover and set it aside by the cleaning station.
- Clean the vented area at the bottom of the refrigerator.
- Return to the cleaning station, clean vent cover with the warm soapy water then put the vent cover back in its position.
Now refresh your workstation with warm soapy water and get a clean towel.
