Lesson 2.1 Commence Top-Level Cleaning
Commence Top-Level Cleaning:
- The cleaning process begins from top to bottom, using a step stool or ladder to address light fixtures, hanging lights, chandeliers, ceiling fans, vents, windows, blinds, doors, door frames, trash cans, and cobwebs. Make sure to clean all light bulbs.
- Use a step stool or ladder when appropriate for this cleaning.
- This structured approach ensures that no dust and debris will settle on already clean surfaces.
Light Fixtures: (if exists)
- Use a step stool or ladder when needed.
- Ensure all light fixtures are turned off before cleaning.
- If possible, carefully detach each light cover.
- Clean and polish the cover with glass cleaner, then reattach it.
- Polish any metal framing with glass cleaner.
- If a ceiling fan is present, use an extended duster to remove dust, then wipe each blade with a damp towel and degreaser.
- If the fan includes a light kit or globe, carefully remove the light cover (if possible), clean and polish it with glass cleaner, then reattach it.
- Clean and polish any metal frame as needed.
Cobwebs:
- Using an extended duster, remove cobwebs from the ceiling, ensuring the room is cobweb-free.
